Handcrafted furniture from Cumbria
Rob Jarvis is a maker of simple, practical, handcrafted furniture from locally sourced wood. Based in a small workshop in the North Cumbrian countryside, between Hadrian’s Wall and the River Eden, close to Carlisle, we are easily accessible from Newcastle, Scotland and the North of England.
Our furniture is inspired by the techniques and designs of generations of craftsmen. Like the Arts & Crafts makers of the last century, we offer an alternative to standardised, mass-produced furniture. We work mainly in native hardwoods, especially oak.
